This three page feature on the Detroit Docs film festival describes a day of Jewish films at the Birmingham 8 on Sunday. In addition to those films, part of the 105 film international festival, Detroit filmmaker Harvey Ovshinsky will be honored on Thursday, November 11, at the gala kickoff party for Detroit Docs at the WSU Welcome Center. His work will be shown at the Welcome Center, and in the Bernath Auditorium of the David Adamany Undergraduate Library. Ovshinsky attended WSU in the 1060s, and taught here as well.
